Every sentence on this site was written for it. If you believe otherwise, the contact form is the desk that handles copyright; we keep no public mail address.
Filing a takedown request
Choose "Copyright notice" in the topic list of our contact form. Section 512(c)(3) of title 17 of the US Code expects a notice to contain these elements, which you can write in your own words:
- which protected work you think was copied, described so that we can tell what it is;
- the precise URL on trans-video-call.com where the disputed passage or file sits;
- who you are and how we can contact you, ideally through a reply address in the form;
- a sentence saying you believe in good faith that the use lacks permission from the rights holder, from someone acting for them, or from the law;
- a sentence, given under penalty of perjury, confirming that every detail in it is true and that you either own the right concerned or represent its owner;
- a signature, for which your full typed name is sufficient.
A complete request is normally dealt with within a few working days. Whenever we take something down and know who supplied it, we let that person know.
If you think a removal was wrong
The same form accepts counter-notifications. Identify what was removed and its former location, declare under penalty of perjury that it vanished through mistake or misidentification, add your name and contact details, and state that you submit to the federal district court responsible for where you live. Unless the person who complained informs us of a court action within 10 to 14 business days, restoring the material becomes possible.
Repeat infringers
Visitors have no way to publish anything on this site, so there are no user accounts to suspend. If that ever changed, accounts with repeated infringements would be closed for good.
Child sexual abuse material
No picture of any person appears on this site. Should you ever encounter sexual imagery of a minor online, report it right away to the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org, phone 1-800-843-5678) and to the police where you live. If one of our outbound links ever pointed toward such material, tell us and that link disappears immediately.
